Get help with training your own dog
I meet with you and your dog for 1 hour/week in-person in your backyard, or other outdoor space (a virtual/hybrid format may be a better fit for you and your pooch; see “Live Online Coaching” below).
During the session, you can expect to receive instruction on management techniques, training exercises, and mechanical skills. The goals and priorities identified during the initial consultation will guide the coaching sessions, but we will address urgent questions or issues that come up during the week.
Between sessions, you and your dog will practice the exercises inside your home, in your backyard, and on walks and other outings. I am always available to answer questions via email.

Yes! For some clients, a fully virtual or hybrid (combination of in-person and virtual) format may be more beneficial than all in-person sessions. For example, puppies very have a short attention spans and a 1-hour/week structure may be overwhelming for the puppy and owner. In that case, a hybrid approach might make more efficient use of time and resources — e.g., I meet with you and your puppy in-person for 30 minutes on Monday, then we meet virtually for another 30 minutes on Thursday to check in and give you next steps. Breaking up the 1-hour block is only possible with virtual/hybrid coaching. Virtual sessions are conducted over Zoom or Google Meet.
